Welcome to Wish List Wednesday!
This is a new blog series that I plan to do once a month. It will be a roundup of a few things that I’ve been watching, wanting, that have caught my attention, and/or that I’m just completely in love with.
More than likely, the items will mostly be decor-related, but some may be other great finds, things of interest, or just fun to share.
Since it’s November, we’ll make this first Wish List Wednesday a Thanksgiving edition. 🙂
The focus is all about family & friends gathered around the food the table. Here are a few items that I think would be perfect for an easy & effortless table setting:
- This gold flatware set is seriously going to be on my table soon. It’s simple, stylish, and affordable. Target for the win!
2. For napkins, I’m liking a couple of options. This one is cotton, natural, with a French stripe. I love the little bit of graphic punch with the black. These napkins (in the flax color) go along with the neutral theme and lets your table decor and food take center stage. Both are awesome.
3. I’m a natural kind of gal and these simple woven chargers are right up my alley! They help ground the place setting and add more texture.
4. These stemless gold wine glasses are super cute! Don’t you love the honeycomb pattern on them? I’m also imagining these for a Spring table. *Bonus* They can be found at Wal-Mart! Can you believe it?
5. This live wreath combines two of my favorite greeneries! Olive and eucalyptus. What a welcoming presence it would be on your door! Or a cabinet, window, or mirror. This wreath can take you right into Christmas decorating as well! Does anyone have any experience drying greenery? Especially olive leaves? If so, please comment below!
Layer these things together on the table with some white dishes, pumpkins, pine cones, and a few stems of greenery (I like the seeded eucalyptus, of course!). It makes for such a beautiful natural tablescape. The touch of gold adds the perfect amount of metallic for a little touch of glam.
You’re all set!
How are you setting your table for Thanksgiving? …and what’s on your wish list?
