All those precious, precious moments. A baby belly laughing, a first toothy grin, baby’s first trip to the beach, and, of course, nothing is sweeter than a sleeping baby. All those pictures and 20 second videos that you want to hold on to.….and then you have 4,051 photos and 420 videos on your phone. (That’s a real number people…I know I need to clean off my phone. It keeps yelling at me to purchase more iCloud storage, but I promise they are backed up.)
Also, you want to share these moments because, obviously, you have the cutest kid in the world. I get it. You know what though? I don’t want to blow up my Instagram and/or Facebook and share pictures of my child with the whole world. Not happening.
So what do you do?
TinyBeans. Y’all. it is by far the best app on my phone. It’s a secure online journal that lets you upload and share pictures and videos with people YOU choose and as much as you want to. It privately shares those pictures, videos, and even milestones! Here’s the best thing about it for me – not only does it make photo sharing simple and safe, it keeps the pictures/videos ORGANIZED, DATED, and BACKED UP! Bonus!
It is super easy to use and very user-friendly. The grandparents love it. We live about three hours away from them and other family members so this is a fantastic way for them to be included on those little daily moments.
Other awesome features of TinyBeans:
- No social media is involved unless you want it. You certainly don’t have to link your social media account(s), but the option is available.
- You can add and track multiple kids on there. It keeps up with each of their photos and/or milestones.
- Friends and family get notifications of new moments after you upload photos/videos.
- You can adjust the settings so pictures/videos can be liked and/or commented on.
- It keeps up with each child’s milestones (i.e. first bath, first smile, etc.) so your mom brain doesn’t have to.
- You can download the photos/videos. It keeps them organized by date for you too. That’s a biggie for me because at the end of the year, I download all the pics/videos to my storage device and print photo books of our year from there. Which brings me to the next feature…
- You can print photo books directly from the site.
- There’s a flashback feature on the app that is really fun to look at.
- It’s a super simple way to back up all those precious moments!
The TinyBeans app and service is totally free, but even the premium packages are super reasonable. I upgraded to premium and love it. For about $4 a month, I have complete peace of mind knowing my pictures are organized, dated, and secured. There is also an option to lock-in your premium membership and benefits for life with a one-time payment.
I feel like this is one of the best things that I have done as a mother. Other than actually giving birth and getting my child to sleep through the night.
Give TinyBeans a try! You’ll be glad you did.
By the way, isn’t she the cutest? 🙂
